Maaike Bouhuyzen-Wenger | Design & Illustration

Maaike Bouhuyzen-Wenger (she/her) is a Toronto-based artist, with a focus on printmaking and pen & ink drawing. She has a particular interest in illustrative and sequential works, and has been working on a graphic novel adaptation since 2020. She earned her Bachelor’s of Fine Art at York University in 2008, and her Graphic Design diploma at Seneca College in 2022. She continues to supplement her education with various art classes and courses.

Maaike is a founding member of the inPrint Collective, where she has met several of her on-going collaborators and co-schemers. With experience working for inPrint and other art organizations over the years, she has helped to plan, install and coordinate various art shows, workshops and events.
